MULTIFUNCTIONAL COMPLEX “IQ- BLOCK”

The multifunctional complex «IQ-quarter» is an object consisting of three towers of a different height, which will combine the offices, apartments and a hotel, as well as a transport terminal connecting all the towers. THE OBJECT IS A LINK BETWEEN THE MIBC «MOSCOW-CITY» AND OTHER AREAS OF THE CITY WITH ITS INFRASTRUCTURE, PASSENGER AND CARGO FLOWS.

A distinctive feature of the project lies in the fact that the first and basement floors of all three towers are united by a single clerestory atrium space, which will provide visitors:

• Socio-cultural infrastructure;
• Exits from the subway (station «Mezdunarodnaya»);
• Underground Parking garage for 716 cars on 5 levels;
• A pedestrian bridge to the station «City»;
• The second ring contour line of the metro, combined with the TTR;
• Multi-level above-ground Parking under the TTR;
• Transfer hub.

The specialists of «OPB» performed the following work:

• Development of the design documentation section “Fire Safety Measures” (FSM);
• Concept development of fire safety;
• Development of the special technical requirements (STR) for design and construction in terms of ensuring fire safety;
• Maintenance and technical and scientific support in developing the design and working documentation, developed by other organizations, including foreign companies, in terms of requirements of fire safety;
• Development of design and working documentation for fire protection systems;
• Designing general engineering systems of the building;
• Report on the preliminary planning of military operations for fire departments to extinguish the fire and conduct rescue operations (Fire-fighting plan);
• Development of measures to ensure the required fire resistance of exterior curtain walls (facade design, including stained glass);
