MIBC «MOSCOW-CITY»

This Object is perhaps the most unique in its class, which embodies advanced ideas of architecture, design and solutions for fire safety, which combines a Central hub with several metro stations, multilevel underground parking lot, shopping Mall, hotel complex and a concert hall.

The group of companies «OPB» performed full set of fire safety works. Amidst unique architectural and design solutions pioneered in Russia, with the participation of the specialists of the company «OPB», are worth mentioning:

• the device transformed the concert hall with rotating platform, with the ability to change functionality and configuration for various types of events;
• the largest at the time of construction the atrium having a single coated glass dome with an area of 10 000 m2;
• the internal perimeter passage, placed in the underground level, which encircles the central core and that connecting it with the adjacent high-rise buildings;
• a hub that combines several metro lines and going directly to the gallery shopping Mall;
• 6 floors of the trade part of the building is a multifunctional shopping and entertainment center «Afimall».

The specialists of «OPB» performed the following work:

• Development of the design documentation section “Fire Safety Measures” (FSM);
• Development of the special technical requirements (STR) for design and construction in terms of ensuring fire safety;
• Maintenance and technical and scientific support in developing the design and working documentation, developed by other organizations, including foreign companies, in terms of requirements of fire safety;
• Development of design and working documentation for fire protection systems;
• Designing general engineering systems of the building;
• Calculation of parameters of Smoke protection system of the building;
