AIR-TERMINAL COMPLEX “VNUKOVO-1”

The air-terminal complex «Vnukovo −1» is formed by 2 terminal: the passenger terminal A and the passenger international terminal B.

Considering the engineering and design features of the terminal A, it is an unique and currently the most high-tech air terminal building in Russia Five-level terminal has through separation into two zones — for the care of the passengers of internal and international voyages, which makes it possible to optimize the transit of passengers. The first and second ground-based levels of the terminal are intended for service of arriving flights. The third ground level of the terminal, which is adjacent the upper level of the flyover is used for departing passengers. To service the VIP-passengers there are special rooms on the fourth ground-level terminal, fully-equipped rooms for negotiations.

Lounges, stores, canteens are located on all levels of the air terminal. The boarding gallery equipped with 52 gates, including 31 air bridge is a significant area of the terminal. There are 78 elevators, 61 escalators and 38 moving walkways for the convenience of passengers.

The specialists of «OPB» performed the following work:

• Development of the design documentation section “Fire Safety Measures” (FSM);
• Development of the special technical requirements (STR) for design and construction in terms of ensuring fire safety;
• Maintenance and technical and scientific support in developing the design and working documentation, developed by other organizations, including foreign companies, in terms of requirements of fire safety;
• Development of design and working documentation for fire protection systems;
