PUBLIC-BUSINESS BUILDINGS IN SKOLKOVO

On the area of about 400 ha the project of the Innovation Center «SKOLKOVO» combines the objects and all the necessary infrastructure of the scientific research Institute focused on education, research and business creation.

In an urban environment on a human scale, with high quality architecture and a strong connection with nature, SKOLKOVO creates an attractive innovation environment from the point of view of the environment and quality of life.

In this context, a key element of the project is reception and arrangement of the companies of 3 key partners — Major related research activities:

1. TMH (JSC «Transmashholding») + ALSTOM project (South side of site)
2. CISCO + other companies (between TMX + and ALSTOM and IT Cluster)
3. ITCluster (North side area) Sites for placement of the key partners selected in each of the districts of «SKOLKOVO». The most important of them associated with the industrial Park, is located in area D2.

Tekhnopark will house on a total area of 157 sq. m. 300 start-up companies whose activities are connected with high technologies, and provide high quality advanced equipment. The object also has a very flexible and transformable spatial and functional organization.

The key partners’ companies, favorably located near the Technopark, will be able to take full advantage of this proximity with the point of view of professional synergy, and in terms of services and infrastructure: Convention center, restaurants and a large pedestrian Gallery.

The section, intended for positioning the key partners, occupies area near 63 000 sq. m. It is located on the West from the business center «Gallery», and is limited by the Parkway.

The specialists of «OPB» performed the following work:

• Development of the design documentation section “Fire Safety Measures” (FSM);
• Development of the special technical requirements (STR) for design and construction in terms of ensuring fire safety;
