The projected Transport interchange hub «Sokolinaya Gora» (hereinafter TIH), is included in the program «Reconstruction and development of Small ring of Moscow railway. Organization of railway passenger traffic».
The projected territory of TIH «Sokolinaya Gora» formation zone is located in area «Sokolinaya Gora» of Eastern administrative district, near the Izmailovo Park, near the Fourth ring road.
Technological connection of TIH is designed in the form of Terminal which is located over the railroad tracks and attached to the existing overhead pedestrian passage via Moscow Circular Railway (with stairs and an escalator descents and vertical observation transport for LMP), attached to the engineering building of the terminal, in accordance with the approved transport-technological scheme. The existing pedestrian passage provides a link across the tracks of the railway with a passenger platform in accordance with the approved transport-technological scheme.
The general plan of TIH «Sokolinaya Gora» is developed on the basis of the existing town-planning situation, in accordance with the planning task for development of the project documentation for the construction of «Transport hubs JSC „Moscow Ring Railway“ on the Small ring of the Moscow railway» and on the basis of the approved Draft Plan areas.
The location of the Transport interchange hub «Sokolinaya Gora» is consistent with the recommendations of NIiPI of the General plan of Moscow.
The object occupies an important place in the transport structure of the city, providing for the transfer of passengers to local system.
In the TIH it is proposed to place the Terminal over the platforms.
The Terminal building is one story with a two-story building with basement, with dimensions no more than 60×23 m. The dimensions of building are not more than 9,1×17,6 m. The height of the Terminal building is determined by the level difference of the surface of the passage for fire engines to the eaves of the roof or the top of exterior wall (parapet) and not more than 16 m.
The existing pedestrian passage (overbridge) is a linear construction, is the foot bridge through the railroad lines, a width of 8 m, light height of 2.6 m. The existing passage is provided with the open apertures in the external enclosing constructions (natural ventilation).
The specialists of «OPB» performed the following work:
- Development of the design documentation section “Fire Safety Measures” (FSM);
- Development of the special technical requirements (STR) for design and construction in terms of ensuring fire safety;
- Determination of settlement sizes of fire risk in buildings, construction and structures of various classes of functional fire hazard;
