TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE HUB "ZIL"
Development of the design documentation section “Fire Safety Measures” (FSM)

The planned Transport interchange hub «ZIL» is included in the program «Reconstruction and development of Small ring of Moscow railway. Organization of railway passenger traffic». The projected area of the formation of the transport interchange hub «ZIL» is located in the Northern part of the southern administrative district of Moscow, in the Danilovsky district.
The boundary of the plan area is:

  • in the North-West to the boundary of the easement of Small ring of Moscow railway;
  • in the South-East along the development in the Southern part of the Likhachov Plant Moscow OJSC or AMO ZIL OAO;
  • in the South-West and North-East — the border is determined by the size of the zone of the projected railway station «ZIL».
Currently, the main planning and transport links of the planned territory with Moscow road system are 2nd Kozhukhovsky passage out to the Third ring from the South-East side, from the North-West side transport local road system AMO «ZIL» to the street Trufeleva Grove followed by a trip to Third ring road in the area of the Avtozavodsky bridge.
The location of the Transport interchange hub «ZIL» in line with the recommendations of NIIP General plan of Moscow.
The zone of development of TIH «ZIL» is located at the intersection of the Small ring of Moscow Circular Railway and district street connecting Simanovsky promenade (2nd grade arterial street and Andropov Prospekt), occupies an important place in the transport structure of the city, providing for the transfer of passengers to local system ground passenger transport.
The technological system of the I stage of TIH «ZIL» construction provides passenger traffic from the North-East terminal of the flag station to the ice stadium from the inner side of the Small ring of Moscow Circular Railway and the embarkation of ground-based urban passenger transport (GUPT) from the outer side of SRMCR.
The technological system of TIH objects is designed in the form of overhead pedestrian crossing the SRMCR lines (with stairs and escalator descents and vertical lifts for LMP with the vertical movement of the cab), attached to the technical buildings of the cash pavilions and pavilion of exit on the platform, in accordance with the approved transport-technological scheme.
The General plan of TIH «ZIL» is developed on the basis of the existing town-planning situation, in accordance with theplanning permission for development of the project documentation for the construction of «TIH of JSC „Moscow Ring Railway“ on the Small ring of Moscow Circular Railway» and on the basis of the approved Draft Plan areas.
The location of the Transport interchange hub «ZIL» in line with the recommendations of NIIP General plan of Moscow.
In the objects of TPU it is proposed to place:
  • a terminal above the platform;
  • cashbox pavilions;
  • an overground pedestrian passage, which connects the terminal and cashbox pavilions.
The terminal building is one-storeyed with the mezzanine, size in terms of 46×12 m. The terminal height is determined by the difference in level between the surface platform and the eaves of the roof or the top of exterior wall (parapet) and not more than 12 m. Cashbox pavilions «A» and «B» are one-storeyed buildings with a basement floor size in terms of 47×12 and 33×16 m respectively. Cashbox pavilions height is determined by the level difference of the surface of access for fire engines to the eaves of the roof or the top of exterior wall (parapet) and not more than 12 m. Pedestrian passage (overbridge) is a linear construction, size in terms of 6×145 m. The pedestrian passage height is determined by the level difference of the surface of access for fire engines to the eaves of the roof or the top of exterior wall (parapet) and not more than 12 m.
