ONSHORE PROCESSING FACILITY (OPF)

THIS PLANT, WHICH IN MANY WAYS IS UNIQUE NOT ONLY FOR SAKHALIN, BUT ALSO FOR RUSSIA.

The plant was built in the framework of the «Sakhalin-2» on the East coast in the Northern part of the island near the Nyisky Bay (Nogliksky district).

The plant is located in the area of 210 000 square meters (300 to 700) and is considered to be relatively small. It is a strategic target for all the «Sakhalin-2».

The main function of the plant is the preparation of oil and gas for further transportation to the South through the pipeline. «Output» it can give about 50 million cubic meters of gas and 31 thousand cubic meters of oil per day.

The specialists of «OPB» performed the following work:

• Maintenance and technical and scientific support in developing the design and working documentation, developed by other organizations, including foreign companies, in terms of requirements of fire safety;
