OFFSHORE LEDOSTOYKAYA STATIONARY PLATFORM

THE OIL FIELD «KRAVTSOVSKOYE» WAS OPENED IN 1983 AND IS LOCATED 22.5 KM FROM THE COAST OF THE KALININGRAD REGION. THE SEA DEPTH IN THE FIELD AREA IS 25 — 35 METERS.

According to the results of exploration works carried out by LLC «LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft» the geological oil reserves of categories C1+C2 field «Kravtsovskoye» were 21, 5 million tons, recoverable reserves of 9.1 million tons. The volume of investments in construction of the field is composed 7,7 billion rubles.

Drilling and oil production are conducted with the marine ice-resistant stationary platform, which was built at the factory for the production of steel structures «LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft». This is the first production platform on the Russian shelf, designed and built by the Russian design and manufacturing organizations.

All production processes at offshore platforms are carried out in accordance with the principle of «zero discharge», i.e. all industrial and domestic waste are transported to shore for treatment and disposal.

14 productive wells were drilled on the field, 13 of them with the horizontal termination.

The subsea pipeline with a length of 47.3 km is laid from the platform to land. It produced products — a mixture of oil, associated gas and water and transported to the oil gathering point «Romanovo», where the oil is brought to a marketable condition.

The prepared oil with by the pumps is pumped over to the complex petroleum terminal into the settlement Izhevsk on the coast underground conduit. Here it is exported by the tankers to consumers.
